Happiness
I sat on the café terrace, and while sipping my drink, I observed a young mother and her child exchanging gentle signs of affection. For a while, I remained quiet, but decided to act. I approached the young woman and asked if I might take a photograph or two, or perhaps even more. She kindly agreed, and so I did.
Almost immediately, I encountered a small difficulty: I had only two full-frame lenses with me - a 35mm and a 135mm - one of which was a bit too short and the other rather too long. Nonetheless, I had to seize the opportunity. I changed tables and took several shots, but by then the little one had noticed my intention and began to show off his skills.
It’s a pity, because earlier the scene had been much more beautiful; there was no food on the table, and the child was seated on his mother’s lap, which would have produced some excellent images. Alas, such is life—perhaps next time.

Re: Happiness
You captured the warmth and emotional connection between them, and it seems, by the boys' smiling eyes, yourself.
