In rehearsal
Dancer Roxane de San José in rehearsal for a forthcoming production

I hesitated about the lighting colours here, should I leave it as it was (as above) or should I modify it to a coherent, more daylight but especially more uniform colour, or should I simply say "too much trouble" and present the photo in mono ?

Re: In rehearsal
Chataignier, your image is pretty good.
It conveys a vibrant energy, with the dancer moving expressively and engagingly.
However, a certain softness is observed in the image, which seems to result from a slight blur and possible motion, making it difficult to appreciate some details.
The lighting, dominated by reddish tones, creates a warm atmosphere, but perhaps does not best highlight the dancer's silhouette and movements.
The composition evokes a dramatic ambience, with not enough contrast between the figure and the background which would create a stronger sense of depth and mystery.
With slight adjustments to sharpness and lighting, the expressiveness of the performance could be further enhanced.
Well done ! Let them come !

Re: In rehearsal
I would either leave it as is or convert to B&W.
I tried converting it to B&W, and to my taste, that's somewhat better. I think this is an image about shapes, and having red at the top and green at the bottom is a bit distracting from that. If you like the orange-red as a way of accentuating the color, I would be tempted to convert to B&W and then add that color back, using a luminosity mask, so as to have one color rather than two.
Just my taste, of course.

Re: In rehearsal
+1 to Dan's comment.
The problem with coloured stage lighting in this image is that it adds a little too much colour and that makes the image look a little bit strange. Cutting down the red channel (and a bit in the yellow) gets the colours looking a bit more natural. Moving to B&W takes this image to a different level and makes it much stronger, in my opinion.

Re: In rehearsal
Agree with Dan and Manfred - I tried a straightforward conversion to B&W in LR and it produced a much stronger image.
