Re: Laëtitia in red
Worth noting - interesting upload process here. I uploaded to Flickr as usual, then posted the link here. After doing that I realised that I'd uploaded an earlier edition of the photo with a defect that I'd later corrected, so I replaced the photo in Flickr assuming it would simply update here. It didnt. Although the new version displayed on Flickr, the image on this forum remained unchanged.
To get it to update here I had to change the name of the file, replace the image on Flickr, download a new Flickr url because it had changed although it was the same post, then reload the new Flickr url on this forum.

Re: Laëtitia in red
I’m enthralled by the swirling red dress, which seems to dance on its own, creating an almost ethereal effect against the dark backdrop.
The fabric’s fluidity suggests distinctly continuous motion yet the dancer’s torso feels less dynamic lacking the same intensity.
Her facial expression also appears somewhat detached from the scene’s energy, a more passionate gaze might strengthen the emotional resonance.
Still, I appreciate the contrast between the blurred edges and the crisp details around her face, drawing the viewer’s focus.
Overall, this photograph captures a dramatic moment in motion even if slight adjustments could further enhance its expressive power.
Well done as usual !
