Crossed gazes
I took several burst shots during different stops at toll booths, always trying to catch the worker's expression in that fleeting moment when everything aligns. Framing was easy with the wide-angle lens, allowing the car’s interior and the exterior to be included naturally, without losing the tension between those two worlds separated by both windows — mine and his.
It must surely be a tiresome and draining job, working in that spot where the air constantly fills with exhaust fumes at every stop.
I can only imagine the accumulated fatigue, not just from the physical environment, but from the endless repetition of the gesture, the noise, and the quick, indifferent glances from those passing through.

Re: Crossed gazes
I enjoyed the narrative, which makes the most of the image.
