^^Doesn't quite get that far for me. At the moment I cannot think of what I would change, something about the eye itself feels a bit shallow perhaps?
Possibly it would look better in color. As it is, the eye compete with the bridle for attention of the viewer.
Happy new year to you also!
It seems you're focused on the hair instead of the eye. I find focusing on the eyes more interesting. But a good shot non the less!
Thanks to all for your visits and comments of the post.
the focus is perhaps not at the right place but I was very close of the horse and horses are not still very quiet. Moreover this hsot has been done at f4 w/ my new "toy" 35 mm f2 from canon. I will try to have a new shoooting F6.3 f7.1 ??
for review I add the color version.
sorry I posted twice
Very Nice Thierry!
The horses eye has a lot of depth to it. Litterally. I'm not sure what you would change to achieve this, but if you could have seen into the eye I think it would have captured what I think your going for. The highlight on the eye might be whats keeping the viewer from looking "into" the eye. This is one of my favorite subjects thank you for posting. (I mean the horses eye, in particular). I have a drawing that I did reminiscent of this image I'd love to share with you. it can be seen here. . . http://www.artequine.com/drawings_page_1.html
P.S. I kinda like the B&W
