white candles
taken with an old canon powershot during a trip to Europe
during a picnic in the suburb of London
they came and gathered all around us, the first time I've been so close to swans
I made a B/W version of like because I find it reflects more the magical feel of the moment

Re: white candles
We often have them on our regional lakes - most are quite accustomed to human contact (did anyone mention food?).
Beautiful as they are, they seem to have an annoying habit of ripling the water I'm trying to photograph (hard to avoid when shooting WA!) - the nerve of them I tell you
Interesting sound that they make - bit like a pan flute (soft and hollow sounding).
Cheers,
