Those are gorgeous Peter. I am reminded of the opening sequence of Carlos Reygada's film, "Silent Night", in which the camera records dawn breaking slowly through the trees in rural Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the Australian landscape through your eyes. Thank you.
Thanks Janis. That comment reminds me of a professional photographer who said when discussing one of my sunsets - "No, it is a sunrise". I said I should know when I took it and he replied that anyone can take sunset but only professional photographers would get up for a sunrise. No one knows if you are facing east or west.
Yes, I can confirm that that is NOT what Glenfarg looked like on New Year's morning.
Both gorgeous, Peter. This is the one I'd go for on your stand at the market. The sky has got more in it for me, but also the arrangement of the trees with more taking up the centre area of the frame, is enormously appealing.
Thanks Donald. The tree in the centre of your chosen image and on the right hand side of the other has fantastic structure for a silhouette. I call it my Sunset Tree. It is old and when I lose it I will be very upset.
