Santa Cruz, CA Seascape, alternative shot
I recently posted a shot with a surf "motion". Thanks so much for the feedback. Here's an shot from 3 minutes later that is more "quiet reflection" instead of "dynamic motion".

Please let me know if you have any feedback on this shot and any preference?

Re: Santa Cruz, CA Seascape, alternative shot
Hi Dave,
Personally, I'd lop everything from the bottom up to just under the reflection (and a little of the left) off.

This one totally changes the mood captured in the first image. The first conveyed motion and mysticism, this one conveys tranquility.

For me, there is no question about it - this is a far superior photo to the other shot.

Nice shot with nice colors. Did you try to resize it with a panoramis formet keeping just the upper part of the picture ?

Thanks for the feedback folks. Here's a version with Colin's suggested crop. I also brought out a bit more of the rock detail with a shadows adjustment. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Dave
