High, high quality work. I like the use of the material in #3 - very clever to see the need for it to lift the image.
She has got a real cute face & smile...
Me bad ...
I had each flash connected to an external lead acid (gel cell) battery, but also had them connected to a CD-E4 high-voltage accelerator (that runs of 8x AA cells). The flash has a custom setting that essentially says "if you're using a CP-E4, also recharge the flash from the 4 internal AA cells or recharge the flash from ONLY the CP-E4" ... bozo brain here still had it set to recharge only from the CP-E4
So I didn't flatten (or even really use) the lead acid battery.
Glad I got that one sorted - I couldn't figure out why the recyling was taking up to 10 sec towards the end (which is why we stopped the water shots). So it was almost a wrap at that stage, but I saw some nice light behind us, and thought I'd give it another go, but without the umbrella (which can make the flash work around 4 times harder) (hence the hard light in shots 1 & 2 which were actually taken after shot #3). I call it "going naked", which raised an eyebrow with the model when I used the term!
