    Very well done, Steve. I wonder if you would tell us a little about how this was taken... there appears to be some artificial backlighting just under the jaw of the doe in the background (or am I just imagining it?). The foreground light is natural, so I'm a bit curious....

    [LATER] OK, as I look at it more, the backlighting seems to go away. I think it's just the highlights of the lighter hair under the jaw and the arrangement of an unfocused tree limb behind the deer that give the impression of backlighting. It does look a little... odd... at first, though.

    Lovely work Steve. I do like the shallow DOF (just enough) and the background really compliments the ladies.
