William, I like your picture.
William, this is not the usual portrait clean, well focused, terribly sharp (as I always do) but a portrait with something more. It pretends to show a person in an ambiance where one can relax, enjoy a cigarette (if you are a smoker) and have a drink, distracted from the world around you.
Of course you can show exactly the same thing with a well focused, sharp, bla bla image, but this is different and pleasing.
The "burned" arms are not exactly a problem neither the blur involving the image.
As Dave suggests better pour some - dark - liquid on that glass.
What I don't like is the background with that person on her left side.
If you re-shoot, look for a better background and get also a little smoke out of that cigarette.
