Have a read of this, Morten, and see if it answers your problems.
HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?
I sometimes directly link from P base (but it took me a few attempts before it would work). Make sure that you are selecting the full image address; that is where I kept going wrong.
The only slight problem with direct linking is that anything larger than 150kb will be automatically resized which can sometimes produce a softer photo.
