Cheers Colin; it takes me longer than thirty seconds though since I have to clone out reflections of lamp posts and hide a break in power lines. Thanks for the help I'm keeping the one with raised black clipping point. :)

This is my first post to sort out the method of posting.
The place is Karumba on the Gulf of Carpentaria last June. I think it gives a feel of the place, where we were enjoying locally caught prawns and wine by the beach.

Using the Attach method, you'll always need the little thumbnail in the post too, whereas with one of the other methods; TinyPic or an Album, you don't need that, which makes the posts cleaner to read.

These instructions all look daunting when read, but really, once you have done it a couple of times it becomes second nature and is far quicker to do than read about.

While I'm here, I might as well give a little feedback on the picture;
the horizon isn't quite level, it's slightly higher at right hand edge than left.

I was going to ask what software you have, but fortunately the EXIF data is intact and I see you have Elements 8 (same as myself and many others here at CiC) and that this was shot with a Canon 30D at 55mm, 1/200s, f10 and 400iso. The horizon is easily fixed in that, are even earlier (in ACR) if you shoot RAW (I hope so).

Hello Richard :)
This time I have a question for you and for whom wish to answer as well of course.
I want to plan a trip to the USA, and Yosemite or Utah are places to visit.
However, we are not very found of traveling hours and hours on a bus during days and days. I was hoping to get some friends to come along as well. But this is only the beginning of the plan :)
Where would you chose to go ? Yosemite or Utah ? Have been to both ?
I do understand that is we are not in the Trip Adviser or similar but perhaps you can write some words on these places and - thank you - post another pic. :)

It is a Holiday palace of Late President of UAE. A private beach and the part of the main sea.

It really is a nice image and you have done a good work on it.
However, there is one little thing I would like to tell you.
See the curved line at our left ? The dock is curved and I think you should have captured it's shape. Or, not at all, no dock just sea.
The curve invites us to look at the boats at far end but it is interrupted.

Perhaps (When I am supposed to use maybe and perhaps ? :rolleyes: Let's move on :)) you could have walked some more steps to the left and capture that curve in a lower position and at the same time, the green boat in a more bold perspective...
