The trouble with you is you are just narked because they took your passport off you and won't let you back across the bridge. Enjoy London.:D

I know for panos one should put both the exposure and focus on manual so the camera does not cause discrepancies between images, but I wondered whether if you or I took the six pics as two rows of three (in landscape orientation) and allowed the sky shots to be separately metered to the ground shots, whether it would give any dynamic range benefit assuming the software could sort out the exposure blend at the horizontal overlap successfully.
However, I do worry that my laziness has reached new heights with this question :o
I suspect the result might be a 'trainwreck' though.
Cheers,

PTGui can seamlessly blend rows with different exposures; not wildly different but sufficiently so to make a worthwhile difference to the end result.
If you shoot the rows so the ground/sky split is in the frame overlap, the results can be very good.

I actually used an ND grad on the shots, as I often do for panos. It works quite well.

This was taken in July at the end of the Old Mission Peninsula near Traverse City, Michigan.
This is my first photo posted here, let's hope I did this correctly.

Hello Soma. :) How are you ? Thank you for posting in this thread I started :)
Your picture is nice showing us an apparent harsh place. Was it shot with a strong tele lens ?
The two persons give a scale to the scene :)

I have not found that. In fact with all the dealings I have had with Australians, I have found them great people business wise as well as socially.
I have a lot of time for Australia and Australians. Great country.

It surely is in Australia, as everywhere. :)

That's a mighty impressive first posting onto a forum. Welcome to C in C. Would you like to share your proper name with us (we usually address people with their real names - probably because most of us are old!).

I took this photo in Boundary Bay, B.C. It was taken around the time I first got it, I only had the camera for about 3-4 weeks before I took it. It's not really the best thing ever, but the area was beautiful anyways.

Ahhh! Isn't that purty. Look at the purty view, and the purty flowers. Lovely. (It was suggested the other day of me mis-representing Wales, so here is one very purty picture to redress the balance)
