Exposure time: 1/200secs
ISO speed: IS0 - 100
Focal Length: 18mm

and now I'm PP the pictures...
what do you think about the one below? it's quite standard ..
anyway, does the position of the bridge work or not?

I like the light and colours of this picture. :) Did you WB in post processing or in the field?
but, let me say, if doesn't hurt you, that in my opinion the wood stick in the foreground (left) is distracting my eyes.. but it's just my opinion... :)

The usual style yes, but this time - and perhaps you have the same opinion - the person is "melting" too much into the background. If he was on the other side it would be more interesting.
But not only this point I am afraid. The person is making shadow on his eyes to look to the horizon and this would be a valid reason to have more field in front on not to the back.
I like the light coming in from the left as you usually do.
Why don't you clone the jet plain ? :p

However, if pnly we could see the face of the man... Oh... OK it's mystery. OK OK :)

Thank you for your opinion Nicola :)
And it's a valuable one. I suddenly realized that the viewer can't recognize what the stick is because it is out of context.
There isn't enough information for the viewer to know neither why the stick is there nor to what it belongs to.
Even as post card is not a very bright one. It only has a local interest. :(
In fact, the stick belong to a wind mill.
I hope to be able to post a better image someday of the same spot. :)

EDIT
The photo was just worked on the computer. The white balance was in Auto

I like this shot. The bridge frames the man nicely and the exposure for the rest is spot on. A fill flash would bring out the detail in the boat and the man but then we loose the silhouette. I love the way the buidings effectively backlight the man and boat.

Hi António, You have just given me a headache.:) I've checked all the shots and sure enough I have found 1 that is F-Stop: f/10 Exposure time: 1/250secs ISO speed: IS0 - 100 Focal Length: 18mm. However, I'm guilty of having the white balance set to auto, and I know now that having AWB set will give stitched panoramas that zebra look. Thank you for taking an interest and i would appreciate any feedback.

as we said some weeks ago, you comment on only my good images... so this one should be good enough :D:D:D
anyway, a bolder angle... I think it could be better a lower point of view, I mean closer to the water, I tried running down some stairs and laying down... it's the best I could do
about the face of the man.. i should swin towards the buildings in the photo, since we can see the shoulder of the man in the picture... :rolleyes: :)

a fill flash would be interesting, even if the flash could overexpose the marble bridge..
I would like to be once again there to go beyond that bridge and shoot again the gondola and the buildings with the flash!

And you know what Mark ?
I had never thought about the white balance before. However, I think it is not that important in panos like these because I assume - perhaps I'm wrong - that the white balance is constant all over which can not be true. :rolleyes:
