Nice black and white Yvonne :)
Very strong. Is it infrared ? Or at least some parts of it...
Thank you for posting here. :)

Yes, Antonio, it is infrared, I have a camera modded just for that kind of shooting.
Thanks for your comment and for hosting this thread.
Yvonne :) please don't thank me for hosting this thread. I just started, that's all :)
I am sure the modification of a camera into the infrared area is a most interesting option. What I don't like is the fact that one has to carry 3 cameras instead of 2 and sometimes, the back complains. I mean, our back, our column. :)
I usually - or frequently - walk with two cameras what, after a few hours, is painful :) Age you know... :)
Can we have another one of these nice images, please ?
Thank you :)
I don't know if this image has any merit, but thought I should post it anyway. And yes, it is one of those dreaded HDR'S.
Cheers.....Edwin.

This is a picture from Kiedasch Point, close to where I live. We are overlooking the Ohio River here, looking south at Hannibal Locks and the bridge crossing over into New Martinsville, WV.

Another infrared image.
I am afraid I don't have one ... :o
Have a look here about bokeh, depth of field, exposure and zoom.
this will be nice for mobile phone cameras

Blur can be emulated in CS5 with more or less success or by using add-ons.
Recently I downloaded one of these to try but I don't feel like spending money on this.
After all, CS5 makes the same things these add-on do but with presets. It is true that they allow a very fast way to work on the images...
Here I post two images. One is the original and the other is using one layer and mask.
I don't really know how to do it in perfection.
Later I hope to be able to show you the same image with the plug-in.
it dont looks natural
looks a bit like the person is set in the frame by hand
i think this will give a better effect (i used it my self)

but for the best bokeh, buy a prime 1.4 or 1.2L or if you have lots of cash a 1.0L
