Welcome back, Antonio. I have noticed similar behavior when you click on a new post on the latest threads page. So, certainly it should not be your Mac

    2. No, not just you Same for me with FF and Chrome, odd because the URL at the top appears to be correct, it just doesn't scroll to it.

Seems to be a feature of longer threads, shortest I have seen it happen on is a 4 page (159 post) one.

    1. I will discover when I post this reply

I saw this shot on the tv within the last few days. It is almost impossible to get a different shot of this place although I wasn't really trying to.

At least the tv people thought the view worthy, but they didn't have the nasty light with a poppy.

    Only kidding

Perhaps you could try a bolder angle Steve, like shooting when under the bridge framing the river and the Tower of London far away...
Thank you for posting here again Steve ...

    I had nothing else to do so;

    Landscapes - Archive

I think I've overdone the yellow in this one. My camera won't work on auto so on the way out leg I check out focal lengths and an idea of the angle and exposure, so on the return trip I can fiddle with the manual dials and get the exposure and then pic, but not long to wait and only one attempt.
So I planned the big ship, St Pauls, the FT ect before I got to them, however the rest of the time I just clicked away and this is one of those. Cheers Antonio.

Steve, this is indeed better than the previous one.
And, as you have nothing else to do go aboard again and try even better.
How ? Trying to get the hand rail (inside the boat) at bottom out of the frame, the path way - where people walk and which we can hardly see - more inside the frame.
Show us the metallic structure at the left and the Tower at the same time. One at each corner of the frame.
Get that flower inside the frame or outside. Inside if no pilars are present or outside if they are.
Get bolder angles. As the weather is fine... take advantage of the fact.
Thank you Steve. You did a nice job in spite of.
    I always have something to say, haven't I ?

Cheers Antonio; I will have to think of that next time I'm on a boat. It won't be here though, it costs a lot here, well costs a lot to get here.

Actually the boat ride was only £7.50 and lasted an hour although it didn't seem that long, and the chap driving the boat kept telling me to sit down.
I was on buses all the time and if they was older would be worth taking pics from, but they was all brand new computerised stuff. Amazing thing is the buses only cost me £4.
If you go to London; get an Oyster Card. You can get discounts by pleading ignorance and saying the person that sold it to you said you could, and for some reason it only cost £4 for 8 buses.

    "coronation hall"

I came upon this unusual structure at Somerset Village, on one of my drives through Queensland's South East. The whole of the outside of this building is constructed from corrugated iron, which makes it very unusual indeed, seeing we have some exceptionally hot summers here, 40 degrees+ Celsius.

We have been in London often.
Last time it was in 2009 - time flies - and we bought one of those cards.
    Thank you anyway.

The idea of framing a landscape is always interesting and the colours are nice

For the sake of composition perhaps you should clone or re-crop the tree on the right or perhaps the one on the left
Please decide. I would go for the right one because of the branches coming from above. However, in this case you don't have "room" enough to the right of that very tree.
May be you have another more consistent shot...

What a beautiful reflection you have got !

I am not very found of HDR but yours looks nice in my humble opinion.
    Can you shoot again ?

    Cheers
