Absolutely Chris. Absolutely
@Vandenberg and Nicola
I will be careful and kinder in the future not only to you but to everyone.
Sorry guys, just my nature. When I get older - older, really older - I will try to change and be a better person.
But let me tell you one story, a short one.
Here in Setubal there is a photographer who is protected by an institution. His images are disgusting. Really lousy. Perfectly common. Anyone could do it.
The thing is that he is commented by everyone as being very good because people are afraid of social problems and of being seen as someone who says bad things about the other's work.
It' s like belonging to a political party expecting to have a better job in a near future. You don't say bad things about the political in chief/boss or he may get you in trouble or even not give you a promotion.
So, the mediocrity is applauded. The political goes to the top. No one dares to say that the king is naked.
I am not sure if you get the idea. Like Vanderberg I say: my English is not too good.
It's like Gadafi: he was the best some months ago received by almost anyone and now - that he is in trouble - they want to take him to court. Disgusting He has been a dictator all the time, hasn't he ?

This is my posture. I try to say politely what I think of any image. But I also like to read less favorable comments on my images because this is a way to learn.
Enough said.
Have a nice week end
