Well, for someone who rates himself as not a landscape photog, this is not too shabby. Beautiful comp and tones. And those clouds.... wah!
Thanks Kit. The skies on the Downs can be pretty spectacular particularly after rain. This was an of the cuff shot resting on a fence post when we stopped in a dodgy lay by. The sort of place that is haunted by men in camo jackets driving rusty white vans with whited out windows and back doors secured with Ingersoll padlocks.

    Everyone does swans
    Yeh but not like that

    Steve: both fantastic images !
The first one is a kind of a postcard.
The second is better with that texture of the rust and the clouds in the blue sky...

Very nice candid shot. You obviously only had a few seconds before the horse and cart were on top of you. These small bazaar/marketplaces are the heart of a community.

Nice photo, I am surprised the swans continued swimming towards you even if shot with a long lens.

You can be even more surprised; the EXIF says it was shot at 13mm, so imagine how close they really were!

Tim, I just love this. Those bleak tones, the misty falling rain, the outlined shapes of the hills and all anchored beautifully by the solid land in the foreground.

Cheers Antonio; I do not know how to improve the sky except by putting a false one in. It was overcast but it will be sunny soon and I will keep it in mind. Cheers again.

    Hello Steve
Couldn't you place a blue graded filter on the sky ?
Or select it and work on separately ?
Just a tip. Oh well, is this a tip ?
