This is the main waterfall at Pontneddfechan in South Wales. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Great waterfalls. If you want the EXIF it's here

Question: Is there an official definition for Landscapes?

I saw one definition of landscape here.

But yesterday after having started this thread I remembered that townscapes would also be interesting and might be included as pictures of a town or part of it...

This made me remind this book
The theme here is supposed to be quite opened...

I changed the so called rules at the beginning and even the title of the first post

That look pretty 'realistic' for an HDR, Steve. Nicely done.

    It must be the 50D...

Antonio - mate - is there anywhere you haven't been??? Stunning shots - I particularly like the mountains in Portugal, with those lovely receding shades of blue/grey, and that temple in Bhutan. Choice, both of them.

Yes it is the 50D Rob, I must do something about the size of the files since I'm getting 15MB jpeg, what size and quality is best. I tried to get the exposure RGB banged up to the right but even with a GG2 filter I was not getting enough information in the lowlights and so rather than stick on a GND8 which would darken the tower I did HDR of three images 1 ev apart trying out the blistering speed of the 50D.
I had to reduce red CA by desaturating with a brush, I will not have the money for the 20mm f2.8 lens for a while, I don't get things on credit since I've never had any; you might think that is impossible but I had a wife who could get cheaper money than me, she got the credit and I paid the instalments.

State park in Nevada. Took some pictures in early April, I got a cold right after I got back, and never got around to processing them.

I like the clouds, capping the formation. I brought the clouds/sky up some in PP, but didn't want to overdo it.

    C&C always appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Rick

The rock is spectacular, António. It works well to get it in the middle of the day, I think: long shadows would just make it appear smaller. The goats give it reference.

    Cheers,
    Rick

It would be great if the computer worked Wendy; I've got a top of the shop virus that causes windows to think there isn't a hard drive, but I have linux OpenSuse on the same drive that works fine. When I uploaded that I thought it was finished but it wasn't. Thankyou for letting me upload the real version, that I did again.

What I like here is the way HDR has been applied, in a very soft way.
I think the GG2 filter was used for the sky, wasn't it ?

We got there on a long walk of some 2h / 3 h long. It was of some difficulty because we were in altitute, but we did it.
Inside The Tiger's Nest there is almost nothing to see but the view from outside is just astonishing and very beautiful.
All the way up is nice because the forest is gorgeous as I will post here later. (I have posted too many pictures in a row and I must not to, so I'll make a pause for a while).
The picture is just a cliché / postcard.

Sometimes when you travel in group you have no choise and we have to photograph at that very moment...
The image is not very very (twice) sharp because I digged it from the archives...
