My first post. Introducing my cat, "Fat Boy," who assuredly has never missed a meal. I think the pose is okay but wonder how I can get a better exposure without having to do so much work in Photoshop. I had to darken the couch quite a bit to keep FB in the spotlight. Please comment.

Nice shot but I think the DoF is a little shallow in that the ears are sharp but his nose (snout? what do you call a cat's nose?) isn't.

You'll be lucky to get out of here alive after saying that. There are a lot of the other kind about on here. But take comfort from the fact that you've got at least one friend!

Mandy, without seeing the exif data, it is a bit hard to give advice. What point on his face did you meter exposure off? There seems to be a slight green cast to his coat, so you may want to alter that in post processing. But he is a handsome boy and I'd like to see him again.

The background seems to be a little bit too present. I would suggest a crop someting like this
