    Aye, aye

Knocked about the rest of the site for a while but only just got round to poking my nose into the forum bit.

My name is Robin, I live in the North East of England and for my sins I've worked at Jessops for over 22 years. I'm a Nikon man and if I'm not out taking shots with my gear then I can usually be found playing with every type of photographic gear I can can my hands on.

Below is a (very) random selection of the sort of stuff I like to shoot.

    BP

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

    Aye, aye

I think I can beat that. I did a 26 year stretch in BT as a computer nerd. Beat that!

Very nice shots by the way. Welcome.

There's something haunting about the third photo, hope that was your intentions! Nice shots and welcome to the group!

    Robin

A very nice set of shots with which to launch yourself on CiC. A warm welcome to you.

You can edit your profile and put your name in under 'Real Name'. It will then come up in the info bar alongside your posts, allowing people to know to whom they're talking. It's not compulsory, but as you'll have seen., we tend, in the main, to go with proper names on here.

We were out for a walk and this lady, who is probably lovely, followed around a few paces behind us. The kids and I decided she looked like Death and kept running away so when she went passed I took a from-the-hip grab shot. The processing kind of fell into place.

    Hi Robin,

That's a very good spread of shots, well done.

I think the second is my favourite, but it's a tough call, there is much to commend all of them in different ways.

Anyways, welcome to the CiC forums from ....

OK: I'm just getting into my thirty-second year, although admittedly, the company has changed hands a couple of times (such is life), but I only developed into the computer nerd (at work) in the last decade
