Cold, wet, dull - no coffee in the house - bairn in the pram, rain cover on and off we set to the local supermarket.
Only took this one shot as frankly it's horrid outside but I think this sums up these sort of days by the seaside:

Well observed Robin. I cannot imagine what the celebration was or was it a memorial to some on who drowned.
