Lightroom 3 Archiving
Hi all,
I have a question regarding Lightroom 3 and archiving images. This may be a simple one but just thought of it and don't currently have access to Lightroom to have a look around!
Basically, what happens when my local hard drive is full and I need to move a load of photos to archive, whether it be external storage or DVD etc? How do I still come back to access them again in Lightroom if I need to without having to re-import them? If I simply move photos at the folder level, the links in the Lightroom database will be broken.
I am using Windows btw.
Thanks,
Charlie.

Re: Lightroom 3 Archiving
Hi,
I would export the whole enchilada, meaning the catalog with all the image files. By doing so, you don't have to worry about linkages. Then you could delete the images and/or catalog on your PC.
