ACCEPTING ENTRIES: Monochrome Mini Competition #110

This is a monochrome-themed competition that is open to all CiC members.

ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). We request that there be just one entry per person, and that any tinted images utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.

Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

    Good luck!

Note: Please do not request feedback, or make comments on other images, until after voting has closed as it could be unfair to other entrants.

    Re: Snowy Field

Thanks everyone for your votes. It is always an honor to be recognized by your peers. This was one of those shots I almost gave up on because of all the background clutter. I knew there was a good shot there, but it took that toning effect to make the eye stay on the bikes and ignore everything else. To that note, I thank everyone who has made such nice remarks and suggestions in how to work in the B&W aspects of Post Production. This is such a great photography forum. whoohoo!

Good on yer Chris ... I loved the B/W shading ... sort of antique.

    Re: Random Bikes

If you use Silver Efex Pro, instead of adding a tone, just shift (push) the first slider (I think that is strength but I am not at my regular computer, so not sure) and it tends to go toward a sepia color - though I tend to see it more as a creamed coffee color. It is very much an eye focuser. Thank you for your appreciation.

    Hei Chris,
I use Photoshop Elements 8. I really love your BW's with the sepia effect and have been looking at ways of acheiving this effect. Playing with the various sliders in PS Editor and/or ACR gets me part way there but I'm sure one of our members knows just how to acheive a good result.
Its not just 'cause I want to stand a chance against you in the mini comps
    Help please
