I love shots of lightning and have shot quite a few myself, but several years back I had the unfortunate timing to watch a girl get struck by a bolt...literally out of the blue. It is now a shot which, as is this one, is such a strong reminder of the strength of Mother Nature, that I almost cringe in response...yet, my photographic interests take control and allow me to say, well shot.
