    No new contributions for a while, sorry.

    This isn't a real introduction - at least yet - but I want to thank you for reminding me that I haven't contributed for a while. While some could consider this kind of reminder intrusive - especially for one in my current situation - actually it is reflective of one of the aspects of this forum that attracted me to it. That aspect is that the forum has a certain ambiance that makes you feel as if the members take a real interest in each other, even though I know that it's a programmed reminder. No problem.

    It may be some time before I can contribute because my wife is seriously ill and will need me 24/7 for the foreseeable future. In the meantime I will be looking in as I can ... keep up the good work and I will join in when I can.

    Cheers and don't let Valentine's Day sneak up on you ... you never know when you might regret it!

    I think you are right Lon - people do care about each other here, even from the other side of the world.
    One of the 'gifts' my father in law passed on to us was his devotion and love for his wife who suffered from ill health for some years.
    I will never forget his example.
