As in this case where I got too clever with myself and did a real tight, close crop to try to empahsize the fact the girl's feet were off the ground...

The reality of it though, was that it wasn't all that important, especially when you lose the essence of what makes the shot successful in the first place. The first image was in Competition #205 and the second has never been seen before in it's entirety but is where the first images comes from.





The message here is that the better part of valor is often to simply leave a good thing alone.
