I come from the land down under, I will 'attempt' to take photos of anything that catches my eye, I have been known to drive 5klm thinking about something I just went past, and in the end I'll turn around and go back to it, much to the dismay of anyone that happens to be in the car with me! that includes the dog!

I just got myself a DSLR 2 mths ago, was using a 'point and click random brand name' compact, this new cam has sooo many bells and whistles! I have used auto mode a few times but don't want to get stuck in that rut and never learning more.. so I've been playing with the S A and M modes and loving it! which is the reason I'm here, I was looking up info...and BAM! this site popped up, as I read I found the ppl friendly, helpful and minus noses in the clouds. felt right to me so I stepped in

Also a big thx to MacKenzie for his warm welcome in my first post (sshhh the one I put in the wrong place)
well I'm off to go read up on Apetures and see about putting a link to my photos in my signature!

Hi Kris. I just took a quick look at your photos on the Deviant Art site -- most impressed by the Blue Coach. Quite magical. I'm guessing your are a Photoshop expert.

Thanks for the complement but No, far from a PS anything lol, but I did have a bit of help from Photomatix pro to combine my 3 shots together..and then just a little tweeking here and there, I took a bunch of Vauxhall shots as the club had an outing at that old village the week after I took the coach shots..just been playing with them and slowly getting them on DeviantART, the only reason I'm so slow about it is..well when I took the photos I was sooo excited I didn't notice the reflection of all the other cars on the sides of them...so a tad disappointed there lol..but I did learn something from it!
