ACCEPTING ENTRIES: Monochrome Mini Competition #117

This is a monochrome-themed competition that is open to all CiC members.

ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). We request that there be just one entry per person, and that any tinted images utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.

VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 3 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.

Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

    Good luck!

Note: Please do not request feedback, or make comments on other images, until after voting has closed as it could be unfair to other entrants.

PS: Make sure to also vote on the previous competition here.

    Re: Play

Good shot, Martyn...you have these dancing girls (guys) pretty well worked out...as for me, now I have to figure out how to get less light in the dance studio without turning off all the lights...probably use floods and do some bouncing. Ordered my Nikkor 50mm 1.4 Prime last night but they are back ordered for a week or so...boo-hiss. 18-105 just isn't fast enough to really do what I want, but it is allowing me to explore some capture methods in panning, etc. What I really need is a good seamless backdrop that isn't classroom or mirrors.

dont we all, lol,i have a plain grey 10 foot x 20 foot deep backdrop but its too small,i have another shoot next friday at the same venue, i am going to try some poses against that black door,if i move further to the left i can cut out the windows but still have the light shining in,
i think classroom shots are good for candid type pics, cheers martyn
