Very nice, Ricko. I agree with Antonio, the color is a bit off but easy to fix. Also if you have more and this is a crop, I would suggest revealing a little bit more of the head so that we can see the red ribbon (not sure what it is called exactly). But even with the current tight crop, it looks great!
You are now at a very good level as photographer Alis ...
Thanks for the comments. Keep meaning to try and fix photo up a bit, but havent got round to it yet. Cant uncrop any to get the headband in as it was a chance shot, Alis as she doesnt really pose for the camera i'm afraid Will try and correct the hue and tilt abit, but not sure how to brighten the eyes !
Thanks again !
After seeing the first one...
I don't know if I really like the second...
It's a bit artificial, isn't it ?
Nothing like the real bocket from good and nice lenses Don't you agree ?
Because when I made the closer crop I was more worried with the composition and didn't see that.
As I think you are absolutely right I made the picture again.
However, yesterday evening I erased the picture from LR and it forgot the setting this morning when I when to recover the image from the bin.
I had to begin all over and this is the reason why the image doesn't look exactly like the first one I worked on.
Every time I work on a picture I have a view/point of view.
To place the chin in I had to clone a bit.
Here are two versions.
I like best the bottom one.
In fact, I like this format very much 3/5 as landscape format. It is stable. Horizontal.
It's from this post.
You will have to click on the thumnails to see the images larger.
I see. But there was another one apparently about my post, I thought you are talking about that one but it is not here anymore.
I can see the thumbnail for it from this email I got:
Image: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/img9750600cali.th.jpg
and how about this.... with background blurred
Anyway, I don't see it here now.

It's OK to delete or edit posts if you immediatly discover that something's not right, but once people have responded to it then it really should be left in place (although feel free to add an "update" note at the bottom).
Having said that, I have to say Ashwin that you are definately the CiC king of deleted posts! (they don't fully delete - they just get hidden and at some stage the likes of Dave or I have a cleanup) (I just did a batch last night).
