I was not aware of that light on location. I should have (barned) hidden the light somehow.
Next time when I will be in Samode Palace leading a group of Portuguese photographers (and whoever wants to come) next October. (I hope).

You have to earn money to eat and this is not what we are doing here :)
Your young man looks great here. :)
Be ware however that his face has burned areas which you probably can correct in the raw file.
You could also frame - just another of my thoughts - a little more to the back, with more field and frame the young man a little to the right side of the image. Like giving him - in the picture - room to look at.:)
Cute young man. look at his hair :D
Thank you for posting. :)

Hi Steve,
I quite like the way you have him vertical and have let the background go where it wants.
As Antonio says, there are some exposure problems that, if shot RAW, a careful go at with PP could probably aleviate.
Regardless of that, it is a nice picture, well done,

Thanks Antonio. The face was quite badly burned out in the original image so this was the best I could recover but his expression made it worthwhile.
You are right about the frame, I must not be so eager to post and spend another 2 minutes doing it.

What do I like specially in the image of post 707 ?
The blurred background with desaturated colors, while he - our young man - pops up in his fancy colors.
The rest Alis, oh well... the usual good and nice quality you usually have in your images. :)
A trifle:D:D
About the other 708 ? The usual, the usual. What can one say looking at so good work ?
Keep doing it my friend :)
Oh. I almost forgot: thank you for posting ! :)

Thanks, Antonio!
I am getting close I think. I like the skin tones on the last one especially. It is very close to real thing I see everyday :)
PS: WOW! This new software is cool :)

That sounds like something Colin can do to fix the problem. I mean this may be an option that they can change?

The light was bounced against the wall which was behind me.
I was on my knees and the light about 2.00 meters hight.
TTL flash.

Nice black and white Alis ... :)
