Cutting parts of heads off is pretty much the norm these days (just look at just about any magazine).

It is nice this crop Colin.
The guitar adds to the composition.

I usualy don't buy photography magazines except the ones in know, Silvershotz and Aperture.

I'll have a look one of these days just to see the new way.

Yes Richard, you are on that trend. Go on improve it.
Get better pictures. Better, more sophisticated, more elaborated ones.
More controlled ones !
I think it is a happy way giving Life and joy to the pictures. And if you shoot marriages, the better.
I am sure your clients will also like them. Well, I hope so

Wow! Looks like a great discussion here on harsh light. Would love to read about it when I get a little more time. What say about this one? I know the head & elbow are cut about which I think I will clone the head at least, from other shots I took of him.

But Sahil if - as you state - the tissue has a religious significance shouldn't it be more apparent / evident ? And what is written on his t-shirt ? Is it important ? Does it also has a meaning ?
Shouldn't we see it integrating the portrait in a wider context, in it's own culture ?

As you know Sahil, it is easier to say than do it !

There is a popular Portuguese proverb that goes like this:
"Do what I say, don't do what I do" - in a poor translation but you got the meaning

I make similar "mistakes" but... we are all Humans aren't we ?

These guys do everything with your tooth. Root-canal right in the middle of some park! They have all kinds of dentures rightly available.

Indeed Sahil India is a "Toysrus" in terms of taking pictures of people. My wife said.
For the time being, it is very easy to take pictures of people and they are all very expressive.

I did not make my teeth in India, in fact but I think many people does.
I don't know if with time, people will not have enough of being photographed.
I have been to countries where people run away from cameras or get mad at us while in others... on the contrary.
I can perfectly understand their "run away" position in countries like Vietnam when I look at their History.

We were twice asked to be photographed with people, in India. Amazing. But they are right. If we shoot them why can't they shoot us, with or without them ?
