Great work as usual.
What can I say but "Thank you for posting here - over and over - Ali ?
Isn't the third one a bit Oof ?
...
Yes it is, now that I have a more attentive look.
Cheers Ali

Excellent image Katy Very nice. With lots of "meaning". A photo with a message.
The only thing I would do, would be a different crop as I think the one you have used is rather too tall and shows to much of his arms without any special interest.
I cropped the image and rotated it a bit.
I think you were standing on his bed shooting from above, taking advantage of the light from the lamp. Sometimes - not to say, often - new and creative angles are rewarding.
He is a nice young fellow
Thanks, Antonio! He is precious!

I have cropped your photo and I made a small adjustment. It has lost quality indeed.
Her completion is not very flattering any more but I couldn't do better using this image as original.
However, the lighting is just fine and perhaps you could use some kind of reflection on her hair. Have a look at the teaching lessons here by Colin. They are pretty useful.
I am not very found of studio portraits in fact.
I love canvas
Thank you for posting here Mario.
I think I like the wider crop myself - except for the background color. I know this is entirely a matter of personal taste. I guess since I have so many bland colored walls in my house that I am tired of looking at them in photos. You could easily change the color via lighting and/or a blanket/curtain etc.
*doh* yes I forgot. Sorry.
And I didn't mean a tight crop. I'm terrible explaining myself. I meant something like this, more square (thus disqualifying it):
But I see what everyone else is saying too when I compare. Nevermind me, I'm still reading about space and composition.
