    Hello Sahil
Rajasthan and you know, far better than I do - has nice people dressed with nice clothes, very colored. So, take advantage of that and shoot portraits
Jaipur is the Pink Rose City which I could not capture the way I would like because we travel in a group of non-photographers and we are always moving.
When we have been to the Palace near the Observatory I was compelled to shoot under the morning light. It was a quick visit because we were heading to the Observatory.
This monument is really impressive and I think you should be prepared to take shots as early or as late as possible because of the light.
There will be many people I think and you could benefit of having a tripod to make several shots and later compose images without people or at least with less people
A CPF would also be of some interest and a calm and long stay witch would make you see what you don't when you just look
I don't have any special tip for you. Excuse me
I join here two pictures for you to see how the light was harsh when we were there.
Oh... Don't forget the wide angle
There is a Palace just around the corner very nice. As usual

Do you know the tourist ? Or is he too dark
On the gardener: See how harsh is the light ?

I also post a non-worked image for you to see the difficulties of the hour (early morning ) and the space to shoot. Wide angle welcome and ... time. Time to compose, time to re-shoot. Time

Thanks again, for the input, Antonio
Taking multiple exposures is a nice idea. I really get put off to see many people around a monument. Its the people & the architecture I basically plan to cover. We will be visiting 2-3 forts, Jantar Mantar (observatory) & a few other places. Jal Mahal too. For its reflection in Water. I just hope surroundings are not TOOO DIRTY
Well the gardener's shot has come out pretty well, despite the harsh light. I always become apprehensive to take a shot in harsh light
I will be taking all my lenses along. You can see what all I have in my signature

Googled this image.. Lets see what I get to shoot. The water had got dried, but there has been pretty good rainfall there this year. Most of Northern India is flooded.

You mean here right ? Sometimes I can't remember the names but when I hear them I remember.
I couldn't clean the garbage. It's too much

These are also portraits. The two women were talking to each other and the other was feeding the birds. We don't see them do we ? Or was she feeding the caw ? It looked to me on location that she was feeding the birds but in fact we can't see them in the picture...
I am sorry I couldn't make better images with a more elaborated composition. Always time... time... And the light... Terrible. There was some kind of fog in the air. Late morning

hi guys! Just another share of NSCP

Its the same girl that i took a shot at the same place at the same time. Though at almost same angle too, the emotions of her face changed and so i decided to apply a different texture on the photo. what do you guys think?

It is the Gary Fong thing
I've gone off those darn things, I was sat right behind a pro in the pub Saturday night trying to enjoy the live music and his GFT kept blinding me everytime he took a picture. Fortunately, he did move to a different spot after 4 songs, so although it was still annoying, it wasn't blinding.

Why didn't I take my camera? - out of consideration of other customers and not wanting to get in their way (it's a very small pub) - you can tell I'd be useless as a pro tog

Sorry about the bad experience, Dave. To cheer you up, look at this one taken with the same GFT, looks like a still out of that Hitchcock movie

Very well done Ali ! I do like both.
Will you tell us something about that Gary Fong equipment IYP ?
I have been looking at his page and saw the collapsible model. Is it the one you use ?
It looks like it is pretty versatile.

    Thanks, Antonio!

I have both the rigid and the collapsible. They are both good, I don't see any difference between the two except that the collapsible takes less space if that is an issue.

But in terms of performance, it is a bit funny to carry it around but the results is usually very good. I have learned that with the flash with card out inside the tupperware, the result is even better. Of course for people like me who do not have Colin's 15,000 grand Elinchorm lighting equipment! Here is another one taken with the GF thing from a very close distance:
