Why would you Diane, rather put something fun but not serious as you have ?
You are too serious, OK then
    Now more seriously
Your image attracted me mainly for two reasons: the colors and the interrogation the image poses.
I can't understand what is going on there with the young man looking at the hands of someone who is holding I don't know what.
The lack of sharpness doesn't border me at all as the core of the image is in the message itself but enough to let us see the eyes of the boy and his attitude.
I think it is a good image
    Oh by the way: TFPH

    Hi Ashwin,

Comments you requested: I think this one is specially great. It is like a theater shot. They only thing that bothers me is that the surroundings are very similar in terms of tone and texture to the subjects, they just blend too much, and the subjects don't stand out.

It is of course not your fault, but I though you may be able to darken the surrounding a bit to make the two little ones stand out more.

    Can you do that?

    Hi Ali,

Thank you for your comments, Background is WALL PAPER and it is white marble floor... In colour picture stand outs correct, this is a B&W version.... I will workout as suggested by you for your further comments.. Antonio are you listening..

    How about this
This one is also very nice and cute, a few things:

Looking at your pictures as a whole, I feel they have too much overall contrast, I mean specially the black clipping point may be set too high. Not sure if it is your monitor or just your style. I find this one for example too dark in the shadows and also too bright on the highlights. Others may be able to tell us if they see the same since the third possibility is that my monitor may be off.

Specific to this shot, I think the girl is not looking where we expect her to look exactly, you may have a better shot with respect to that. I mean she is looking far and a bit low, not exactly at her face and not exactly at the horizon.

Also, for some reason, when I take a picture, there is a big pole in the background. I think you have the same luck! I think with the blown out sky in the background, it should not be too hard to take care of the white and red pole on top of the girl's head or at a minimum get rid of the red part of it to make it blend with the background better.

And last, it is cropped a bit to tight on the lower side of the image, I would love to see her other hand or at least where it is supposed to be, even behind the sleeve.

    TFPH!

    Hi Ali,

Thank you for your all constructive coments.

Photograph was taken in Bright Sun Light, White Background is not sky but building, yes image is little bit more constrasty, and this is my choice, as when we print the Photograph on Photographic paper it is little soft

Girl is dreaming something, as such she is not supposed to look at anything in the picture she is also carrying flower in her hand, little boy is looking at her ( In reality they are brother and sister )

Yes red pole could have cloned out

I agree with what Ali said about the picture.
They are in the street on the side walk probably waiting for the bus.
And yes, indeed the image is a little bit too tight in terms of cropping.
And I am afraid those are not their clothes

Only one thing to point here: This is a SCP but you Ali, did very well posting it here.
I have nothing to say about it. What can I say about a nice image ?
Perhaps that he has a certain selection problem around his right hand and face ?
Shall I suggest you clone the boat ? No. It is like if he was looking at it...

Wrong! It is a nSCP. And that is why I posted it here

Thanks! You are right about the selection. I get lazy sometimes, I should have done a better job now that we have CS5!

And about the boat, I agree. It is too small, almost like junk on the water. Doesn't add that much to the image.

Do you really think they are waiting for the BUS ? or just posing

And I am afraid those are not their clothes
These oversized cloths were arranged for this particular pose

    Thanks.

It is a nice portrait Richard and you did I nice black and white conversion
Perhaps her eyes are a little bit too dark... aren't they ?
Thanks for that I've lightened them a bit and I think it looks better for it .

I cropped him out of a group 'jumping castle' picture where all the other boys were play fighting on the mat or jumping with their backs to the camera. This boy was a bit older and looking at the 'fighters' with this "Kids will be kids" look. I just loved his pose. I don't have a program to edit so excess hands, colours just stay in the pic! Excuse my ignorance what on earth is TFPH? (This Flipping Photo's Horrid??!!)

    Hi Sahil!

specially love the first one. The boy looks very cute, and the light passing through the water bottle adds some complexity to the image.

One thing: Now that we do not see his whole hand around the bottle, I would clone out the tip of his finger that is showing up.

    Great shot!

    And, TFNPSE

That is actually what it means...pretty intuitive huh? So it has the potential to become a universal forum jargon
