Not a ROADKILL. Just another cat on the road
I think my depth of field was kinda shallow. Didn't intend it to be that way. What do you think?

I love the black and white with colored eyes. My only suggestion would be to crop a bit tighter and level the cat; about 4 degrees clock wise.

Mel,
I have to agree with Mel about cropping, it would bring out the eye's more. Your DOF is fine to me. the shot is overall very nice.

Hi, Mel! Both of your kitty cat shots are so clear and textural. What sweet little beasties!

Hi Neil. I used a 50mm f/1.4 USM glass and aperture was set at f/5.6.

Re: Not a ROADKILL. Just another cat on the road
Hi mel - just to be different - I really like the angle and the crop ( actually I really like everything about this shot)
- I get the feeling kitty is just about to leap up and run off to stage right going up hill & a 'straight' horizon angle would lose some of the energy....
this is of course why we're here all sorts of different ideas pop up
