extension cable

where can I find an extension cable for my olympus E620 remote shutter control. I want to be able to stand at a distance from the camera as i use the remote

It appears that the RM-UC1 remote cable connects to the camera with a standard miniature USB connector. I'd think that any extension cable/adapter set made for this connection would work. I would start looking by inquiring at the local computer repair shops.

Then again, you might want to just go straight to wireless. This is a much safer manner of remote control from a distance. Few people know how to trip over radio waves or light beams.
