overlooking the french broad river in Seveirville Tn.
I took this picture from a bluff about 80 yards above the river, I wish the snow covered mtns stood out just a little more.

Thanks for sharing. I do see the snow covered mountains in the background. We used to live in Johnson City and would frequently head down to this area.

Hi James,
Nice vantage point. There appears to be a lot of low soft cloud in the background that will make it hard to get a lot of detail in the snow. What post production software do you use?
I have had a very quick go at this in CS5 for you but it is my laptop and the screen is not brilliant. I have also straightened the horizon – the image appears to tilt to the left a little.

Hi James,
I od not know Zooombrowser but other will probably chime in here with a response. There are a couple of good freebie downloads you can use including: -
Rawtherapee.com for as a RAW processor.
GIMP - and I like
Photoplus (a serif product) that has some great on screen help to get you started.
BUT also CiC can assist as you progress. So keep asking questions.
ps. - I can't take a straight horizon either.

The learning comes fast early, I think you have come to the right place.
