Thanks guys, it is fun trying to capture the intricate flow and feel of glass. These marbles are from between 1915 - 1950's and are only a sample of a few of the machine made marble companies during this time period. When I return from work I may post a few of my handmade marbles from around 1850-1920.

This brings so many memories back. I had a collection of marbles as a kid and just loved them, mostly for the beauty of the colours and not because I was any good at playing. I was always careful to put my least favourite up when playing, in case I lost them. Great bit of nostalgia.
