    Greetings

    Greetings!
I'm Frankie and I refer to myself as a "wanna-be" amateur photographer.
I enjoy photographing nature and my current obsession is butterflies. I'm lucky enough to live in walking distance to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History where I volunteer in the Butterfly Pavilion exhibit.
When I'm not looking at God's beautiful creations through a camera lens, I work in IT as a technical writer and communications specialist.

I look forward to learning how to become a better photographer through this site.

    Greetings

I see you have some talent in showing of God's creation Frankie, I like the subtile colors in the picture. For improvement you could try a slight crop.

Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    Re: Greetings

Welcome to CiC, Frankie. Nice subdued colors on your first post. A little amount of sharpening only to the butterfly can give your image a little more "pop".

Like you I love to take pictures of butterflies and have been known to chase one butterfly for hours to get that shot. This is a great site for sharing and learning about photography.
