One of my students was reading through the manual for her new camera and got confused. So, she called customer service and asked what they meant by "Tv" and "Av." The customer service rep very patiently explained the difference between shutter and aperture and how they operate on a balance beam between them.
Only after she hung up the phone did she realize she had called Nikon.
