Winter Wander
Braved the frankly horrid weather and went for a walk with the eldest. There's a really good fishmongers just along the coast from us so a reward for our endeavours was to be a big bag of shellfish for tea.....om-nom.......and a few snaps for me on the way.
Couldn't be bothered to lug the Nikon so the little Ricoh R7 went in my pocket - its got a 28-200mm and focuses down to 1cm so all was not lost.
These were all over the trees in the local churchyard:
Bit of a grab shot and a bit abstract as a result:

Nice stuff, Robin.
Whether by accident or design, I think the Oystercatchers (I think they're Oystercatchers, aren't they?) in flight is wonderful. Full of energy.

Re: Winter Wander
Thanks.
Much smaller - think Knot or Plover. There were loads of them flashing along the surf line - wish I'd had my SLR to be honest.
