I like your 2nd shot. Its well composed. But I feel the clip(??) in foreground needs to be cloned out.

    Greeting To All,

Among the different types of photography, one of my favorites is Live Music Photography. I took this shot at a local singing competition in Singapore. The stage lightings were amazing, the set up was superb and all the contestants were giving their very best performance on that night. Please do not hesitate to drop your comments.

I absolutely love this shot! Great quality all the way around! I was floored when I saw that you shot at ISO 6,400.

I have been looking at a Nikon camera for the high ISOs. That is a great shot technically and artistically, I am curious about the noise level as well.

I like my live music as well. The only problem I have is, I forget the picture and concentrate on the music The below shot is of Paloma Faith performing at the Isle of Wight festival last June. I don't use Adobe anything to PP.

    Lens : Canon 28 135mm is usm F/3.5-5.6
ISO Speed Setting : ISO 800
    Exposure : 1/400 sec at f/5.6

    Hi Everyone,

Digital noise is inevitable at ISO 6400. Regardless of what camera you use, you will definitely get noise at higher ISO setting. However, thanks to Adobe Light room 3 which enable us to remove the unpleasant digital noise. Below is another shot with higher ISO setting and by the help of Light room 3 the noise was removed. Once again, Please do not hesitate to drop your comment.

    Cheers

Sorry Richard. But its just now that I saw your message. Hence the delay. I am sure you must have realised that the shot was posted by Nazmi, & not me.
Well I gotta try LR3 for Noise reduction. But I am sure its the camera too, which can tame noise that well.. This would not have been possible with Cameras inferior to D3.

And haven't posted any image here for like ages now... A real random shot. When I opened this pic on my computer, a different composition came to my mind, which should make the shot interesting. What are your views about this one?
