    Another round of Portraiture Practice.

Comments and Critics are very welcome!

    Another round of Portraiture Practice.

1 flash set up with gold reflector.

580ex II to the right of subject and gold reflector to the left of subject.

    Background still isn't the best

My next purchase would be a back drop!

    Chriss!
That looks pretty darn good to me.
The background is fine - I do like the way the light hits the shades and creates that brighter spot.
If it were me, I would only be looking to improve two tiny things - really tiny! One, a little more light on the right side of the male's head (you?). Two, the females fingers on her left hand are not evenly spaced, distracting me slightly. Like I said - tiny things! The portrait looks rather good to me.
I have tried some portrait lighting with a single subject, and I think I can do it ok now. For me it is harder to get the light even on two subjects with a single flash, and I think you have done this very well here.

I think one thing I miss is the male's fingers... I cut it off

    Who is Shane? :P

Nah that's not me Brian, it my army ranger buddy... I do notice it now on the female's left finger, next time i'll watch out for that. And for the the male's lighting, i might be beaming to much gold if i point it to him... not sure coz i didn't try but maybe and also i would loss that light that hits the shade that you like
