Hello all! I'm new here & just thought I'd take a few moments to introduce myself.
My name is Amy & I currently live in Virginia Beach, VA. I'm a 32 y/o mother of 4 working full-time & pursuing photography as a small side business. I've been an avid photographer since the birth of my first child almost 10 years ago. I started out with a little Olympus 1.3 mp point & shoot (ha ha) & have upgraded many times over the years & recently purchased my first "big" DSLR a Canon EOS Rebel XS (with lots of extras he he)! I enjoy taking candid photos of children & families as well as landscape photography. I've attached a few samples of my work.
I am looking forward to getting to know you all & so far am thoroughly enjoying all of the tips on this website!

Don't laugh but being quite the amature I have no clue what that means ha ha.
This was taken as a color photo but i converted it using (and this sounds corny) Kodak Easy Share software! I often use it for quick editing because it's so easy...and because I haven't quite gotten the hang of photoshop yet LOL
