Crimson Rosella in the wild
Was driving up the lane to out place when I caught a flash of red in the bushes beside the track from the corner of my eye. Sneaked back and got a quick shot. Which was lucky as these little chaps are very flighty and take off at the slightest sound or movement. No time for 'framing the shot' etc. - not that I understand all that high techo stuff anyway. A quick 'point and shoot from the hip' was the order of the day

What a beautiful bird! It looks like something I'd only see in a pet store, zoo, or nature center.
