Re: Salty Hazard
Nice to see impressive predators.
I like them (only from a safe place)
Did you stand behind a glass wall?

Re: Salty Hazard
Nope .. We were standing on a jetty waiting for a small ferry to bring our group of tourists closer to the environment.
Waddya know? The environment came to us!! (he was about 10-15 metres away).

Re: Salty Hazard
Did you use a lenshood?
I've marked red in the picture why i think it was behind glass or without lenshood.
The most frightening animal overhere is a seagull. They are not really agressive but they can drop "things" while flying.

Re: Salty Hazard
This may be a reflection of some sort, but I had a spot like that on pictures with my new G10. I sent it in for repair and no more spots. I never get a great explanation of repairs but they said something about the sensor being changed.
Try taking several pictures of the same subject from different angles and distances. If the spot shows up in all of them, I would say there's a problem with the camera. If not, probably glare from something or lens flare.
