Scratch Disk
Am currently using an old dell dimension 3000 and recently fitted an extra 20gb internal hard drive that a friend gave to me to use as a scratch disk for elements 7.My question is,can I also load software on to it without upsetting it's operation as a scratch disk.
It seem's to have slightly improved the performance of elements. The original hard drive has only 4gb of space left, and I find myself deleting stuff to keep space on it.I use an external hard drive to store my images.
Best Wishes,
Pat

Re: Scratch Disk
Yes you should be able to install software on the extra disk. To do this many installers have an 'advanced' or 'custom' option for installation, allowing you to install wherever you want.
