Hi,
Glad to be here. I am from the Washington DC suburbs of Northern Virginia. I am getting my feet wet in the world of digital photography. Have questions about white balance - where should I post my question? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome Gauamg, is that your proper name. If you go into "my profile" you can add your first name so we all know what to call you. We tend to go by first names here. Anyway I would start a post in general photography discussion with your question. There are many here who can answer most questions posed. Also there are quite a few tutorials with a lot of fantastic info and possibly the answer to your question even. Enjoy!

Arindam,
You are in a great area for photography! My sister-in-law lived there for a while and my wife and I visited one fall. Beautiful! All those trees...and the Potomac....and all those trees! We don't get the color here in California like you do. Anyway, just wanted to say Hey and welcome. I am a newbie myself. There are so many talented people on this site....it's awesome.

Thanks. I see you are from a picturesque neighborhood yourself - as the weather warms up it is one of the best places to be for photography - I would often catch the bus from Hounslow and just take a ride there. Hope to go back sometime soon.
